The outreach programme continues with our networking partner Kaikala Chetana a community based organisation for 41 beneficiaries in 9 rural locations in and around Kaikala village in Hooghly district. While most of the beneficiaries are from ‘Sabar’ tribal community, some poorest elderly persons from other backward communities also benefited from the program. The beneficiaries are provided with dry food, clothes and medical assistance. During the festive seasons special ration and new clothes are gifted. During winter new blankets are also provided. Medical support is provided when required. It is an opportunity for us to acknowledge the generosity of our well wishers who helped us with cash or kind to help the needy rural elderly.
