We organised an eye check-up camp at Charunibash on 31st January 2022. This camp was conducted by GKB Opticals as part of their CSR initiative, and is an annual event. It had been kept in abeyance during the pandemic and we were delighted to be able to organise it this year. 230 people from the surrounding villages and all our residents and staff received a comprehensive eye check-up and medical advice. 169 individuals will receive free spectacles through this initiative of GKB. 35 individuals have been found to have cataract and FOKE will arrange for their surgery as required in the near future. We are thankful to GKB Optical for extending their valuable service to FOKE and supporting us in our initiatives.
